阿里山眠月線，全長9.26公里，海拔高度約2,216至2,318公尺，兩天一夜或是單攻都可以，來回大約7-8小時。
從沼平站出發，一路沿著鐵軌向北而行至終點石猴，途中經過21座橋、穿越14座隧道，沿途皆為參天高木，檜木林、柳杉林。



Sitting in Alishan National Scenic Area, the 9.26 km Mianyuexian, standing between 2,216 and 2,318 meters, takes you about 7-8 hours to complete the round-trip hike. Some would also finish the hike over two days.
The trail that leads to Shihou starts from the Zhaoping station in Alishan. Heading north toward Shihou, Natalis walked through 21 bridges and 14 tunnels along the way and hiked in the primary forest which consists of cypress trees and Taiwan cedars.

阿里山從十二月開始陸續都有櫻花盛開，三月中到四月的花況最佳，這也是今年花季時間在三月七號到四月十一號之間的原因。阿里山工作站前有一株人稱「櫻王」的百年吉野櫻，高達六百公尺，是花季的指標。從派出所往阿里山森林園區內的三代木道路更有「櫻木花道」之美稱，也是熱門賞櫻景點。

Alishan National Scenic Area has cherry blossoms starting from December every year, but it is between mid-March to April when they peak. That’s why this year’s flower season is set between March 7 and April 11.There are many places to see the cherry blossoms. However the hundred-years-old, 600 meters tall Yoshino cherry tree in front of the Forestry Bureau Work Station, also known as the King of Cherry Trees, is the one to begin with.
